2nd, 3rd and 4th day in Vilnius

Tuesday was our second day in Vilnius. At school we all presented the results of the Science classroom interviews and surveys, and we also had a fun chemistry lesson, where we made bubbles. There was also a song contest, and it was fantastic.

In the evening we visited a shopping center called Akropolis, where we went to see a movie (The space between us). We also bought some souvenirs.

On Wednesday we did mind maps on how to deal with stress and had an IT lesson, where we learned to do some coding.

We also had a PT lesson, where we did some aerobic-like things, and it was very fun. 

Thursday was the independence day of Lithuania, and we went to see the castle of Trakai.

Inside the castle there were some very cool windows (and other things too, of course)

We also went to see the white palace (Užutrakio dvaras), which was owned by someone rich sometime in the past. There were lots of beautiful statues in the palace's garden.

Ahhh, it’s time to recall our wonderful week in Lithuania. The trip was unforgettable for everyone and we surely saw Lithuania in its best. Beautiful city and really, really nice people! Huge thanks for the school, other students and our hosts for well-organized exchange!!

Vilnius had so many places to see and experience; Old town, Trakai-castle, beautiful cafes and shops... And no one got lost which was a positive surprise (even Jouko didn't!!).

All the cool happenings at school were exciting and we didn't feel bored, not even once! 

All we can say now is THANK YOU all for everything! We already miss you...
Greetings from snowy Finland (we really got about 15cm more snow like in 2 days this week). Now our Spain group is getting ready for their turn and of course we'll start thinking about next year when we're gonna host you. Expectations are now really high!

First day in Lithuania

Today was our first whole day in Vilnius.

At the school there were a welcoming concert.

We also had a Lithuanian language lesson.

And we made friendship bracelets.

After the school day we had an excursion to the Old Town.

There is many churches in Vilnius.

In Vilnius there is actually an independent republic of Užupis inside the city.
